Mrs Geneva Hylton is the Founder and CEO of Sowing the Seeds, Inc. She brings distinguished abilities in leadership and management to provide services to disadvantaged citizens. Geneva serves the population of single parents as they strive to provide a better life for themselves and their families.
Geneva's background includes 30+ years in the administrative field of the health care industry where she specialized in the management of Nephrology specialists. Geneva studied Health Care Administration at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. Geneva is best known as the founder of Erogen Enterprises, LLC - a medical billing and consulting company based in Atlanta, GA.
Geneva's career spans multiple backgrounds in various "real world" executive experiences. As a successful entrepreneur, she has always understood the importance of giving-back in ways such as education, mentorship, and financial support. Geneva optimizes her acquired people-management skills, as well as, utilizing her extensive network of professionals to reach her goals and see that her passion comes into fruition by providing assistance to single parent homes.
A major milestone in Geneva's desire to help the disadvantaged is the establishment of "The Next Step Resources Center." As Founder and Executive Director, the center was established to not only provide direct services to her clients, but to also use her vast resource network to propel single parents to their next level. Among the direct services provided are computer literacy, GED preparation, and workforce development.
Alexis Jennings attended Florida Tech and Georgia Perimeter college in the early 2000's which led her into a prosperous Accounting career. She has led many financial departments in Atlanta, GA, as well as, Charlotte, NC. She is best known for her accounting skills within the hospitality industry. Aside from her work, she has volunteered her time at the Big Brother & Big Sister Foundation as a Big Sister. Today, she is focusing on her entrepreneurial ventures within the logistics and hospitality industry. In efforts to set an example for her child, she works hard establishing herself as a leader, philanthropist, and entrepreneur.
Mattie Reynolds was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi as the oldest of 9 siblings raised and educated in Detroit, Michigan. As 1 of 2 children selected to attend Sampson Elementary, she achieved Captain of the service squad and served as class president, subsequently, graduating from the High School of Commerce. Additionally, Mattie received an AA in business from Mesa Community College in San Diego, CA. After relocating to Atlanta, Mattie continued classes and attained seniority at GSU. Aside from her education, Mattie married into the U.S. military and was blessed with 5 children. She enjoyed supporting her husband servicing our country. With being in a military family, Mattie enjoyed traveling and spent most of her time in CA. The experience prepared her family to live as productive citizens in a diverse society. Mattie worked in corporate for many years and now enjoys traveling, her children, and working in ministry at her church.
Nannette Divens was born in Chatham, Virginia. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 33 years. They currently reside in Stockbridge, Ga and they're the proud parents of two awesome young men and two grandsons.
Nannette has numerous years of working the field of business credit and accounting. She has worked 15 years as the Office Manager of Erogen Enterprices, LLC, a Medical Billing & Consulting Company in East Point, Ga. Nannette is a licensed and ordained Minister. She serves as an Associate Minister at New Macedonia Baptist Church in Riverdale, Ga. Her ministerial gift has led her to minister in many different venues, She has a passion to minister, loves to minister the Word of God, and recently celebrated 20 years in the ministry. She is the facilitator of the NMBC Annual Women's Conference which has taken members to various parts of Ga., South Carolina, and as far as Ochos Rios, Jamaica, and Cancun, Mexico. Her passion is to help uplift women to be all that God intended them to be. She believes strongly that God has a purpose and desire for women to be used in a mighty way. Nannette lives by Romas 8:28; and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
Nannette's mantra is "I am a champion of doing whats right and helping people just feels right". This is on of the character traits that was inherited from her parents.
Gayle Larkins is from Monroesville, AL. She attended Alabama State University where she majored in Business Administration, a minor in Computer Science. gayle has worked 25+ years in the information technology field. Her most recent employment has been with the Federal Government were she worked as a Tier II Technical Support Engineer. She has obtained certifications in networking technology, PC repair, and ITIL v3 foundations. Gayle has a heart for assisting others, as she is a member of the AV Ministry and Youth Ministry at New Macedonia Baptist Church, She is a member of C.H.I.C.A.S Foundation (Coworkers Helping Indigent Children and Seniors) and she has been a member of NM Communicators (Toastmasters Club) for 5 years. Her dream and ambition is to one day soon own and operate her very own event planning and catering business where she can apply her creativity. Gayle has since received her Event Planning Certification in May 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, sports, cooking, decoration, camping, and playing golf.
